What is Chlorella Growth Factor (CGF) ?
CGF is not a single element but a complex combination of amino-acids, nucleic acids, peptides and carbohydrates that have yet to be identified and isolated. It has been described as a growth factor because of its unusual ability to stimulate tissue growth and repair. In addition, independent research around the world has demonstrated that CGF and an acidic polysaccharide in the Chlorella cell wall will stimulate production of interferon by the body, strengthening the natural immune system.
